The Last Warehouse

I designed and developed this as part of my midterm for my game dev course. 

This is the intro text, within the game:
Hello player,

I'm sorry to tell you, you are stranded, abandoned, probably forgotten, almost certainly not missed by anyone…  

 You are here in the "Magnificent Lost Warehouse", at the very end of the galaxy. A subatomic power source, on your planet malfunctioned and created a worm hole, which teleported you across time and space… to here… the end of everything… It also converted you from whatever you were to what you now are… a metal cylinder, with no arms, hands or visible head… you have no face… I'm sorry but let's be honest, your face left a lot to be desired anyway… This is probably for the best… 

 I'm sorry to break that news to you.. You are alone in the universe, I do not exist, not in the conventional measurable ways that you and your small brained species would understand anyway… There is some good news…

If you choose to, you can enter the warehouse, there are 4 challenges, complete a challenge and you will receive a key, obtain 4 keys and you will gain access to another transporter… This could potentially send you back, through time, space and the unknown, you may get home or you may not, you might live or something else will happen… As I mentioned before, I am not alive so I don't fully understand what you consider to be life… I will give you some guidance. Movement is similar to those old video games you played back on your old planet, use the WASD keys to move around, E to interact, LeftShift to go faster and Space to jump. 

Even though you have no face, eyes or ability to see, you can look around by moving the mouse… You have no hands but you are able to pick certain things up… so pick them things up and move them around, they might be useful, maybe you can build something or block something… Who knows… 

 You won't die here, not in the traditional sense, as you aren't really alive… Is anything alive? I'm not sure… I think, therefore I am able to think, but is that enough to really say we are living? Who knows… If you touch something which is toxic, you will just be sent back to a place close to where you were… Anyway, you can try or you can continue to stand there and look into the infinite chasm of space…. 

 It's really up to you!
